  2. I think inside all of us we have the mental capacity to do anything we envision. I am a blessed person as my only limitation is how much effort I am willing to put into whatever is in front of me. I felt this feeling inside of me my entire life. Bodybuilding was a way that solidified this belief I’ve had. I went from obese and depressed to happy and with a girlfriend of two years with bodybuilding and training. But now the girlfriend is gone and I’m heartbroken. So here I am, again, alone and ready to work. I am great. I’ve already decided, I’m going to be successful because I envision it everyday. I am going to accomplish my dreams. I am going to conquer my fears and my doubts. I will reach my potential not only as a bodybuilder but as a person and as a human being. I may not be “elite” now, but I have that mentality. I just need to work. I’m going to put in the work. Are you?

  3. Christmas is coming up soon and I’m actually terrified. My relationship of two years has just ended and this will be my first Christmas alone since then. The last time I spent Christmas alone I almost killed myself so I have no idea how I’m going to take it.

  4. Doing a legit lean bulk for the past few weeks. Been hitting +1 consistently every week so far. Feels good so far bros, hope everyone is killing it.

    I’m curious as to what your prep and or general bulking and cutting nutrition and food sources might look like.

  6. I know it’s popular to make fun of cross-fit, and for good reason, but I just watched Fittest Athlete on Earth: A Decade of Fitness on netflix. Holy shit that stuff is intense. Not to mention there are some fit-chicks from Iceland that make me look small. I was literally confused the whole time because they are super hot but more buff than I normally am attracted to. Anyways I totally recommend checking it out if you can put up with the ridiculous pull ups.

  7. Was assisting in an oral surgery clinic today and while putting on the disposable overgown it ripped in the shoulder/back area. Thought to myself “maybe I is get big”, then I realized I’m small af and should definitely be raising the small gown sizes as a concern for safety/infections.

  8. Got a new pre workout that allows me to smell colours, gonna be all sorts of flavours in the air when I hit back later

  9. Week 2 heavy day of my 3 days a week full body in the books.

    3×3 for the big lifts: 355 deads, 250 squats and bench

    Back to volume on Friday and next Monday, so far so good.

  11. I started boxing at the beginning of this year at college and damn I didn’t realize how much healthier I feel consistently doing cardio. Last year I rarely did it as I was trying to gain mass but this year It has really helped keep my body fat in check and its Hella fun at the same time. If you haven’t already, hop aboard the cardio train, it’s soo worth it.

  12. So every night after my chest and back day, I have severe forearm cramps. Bad enough they wake me and my arm is at a 90° angle and seized. Am I overtraining? I am drinking tons of water so i don’t feel dehydrated but I could be wrong

  13. Thinking about being a “gym-rat” for Halloween. Gonna wear joggers, a tank top, a human-sized rat tail, and Im probably gonna draw some whiskers on my face. Im gonna do an all upper-body workout before going out to make sure I look the part. Any thoughts on this?

  14. Cutting Pro tip: slightly fuck up your meal prep so you don’t actually want to eat your food all week. Can’t go over your calories if you don’t want to eat 😉👈

  15. After a 2 month hiatus I’m back at the gym after being busy and recovering from an injury, and man it’s great but it also sucks. My strength went wayyy down, but I’m probably gonna focus on hypertrophy for a while. Kill your lifts today boiz

  19. Literally do not understand people talking shit about strength or size on world class competitors Instagram. Buendias comments are filled with people going “you’re not strong” or “my small friend reps that more than you do.”

    Just gotta find some way to be superior to world class competitors I guess. Not even freakout Friday, just grinds my gears.

  20. Update got high with a friend and we decided to go to dinner and he brought his girlfriend new and it’s weird tbh so I’m here awkward high af

A friend asked me what I do for chest & Bis day, and literally laughed when I told him and I have zero idea why, maybe you could help me understand or laugh too, so what I do is 4 sets of bench press start out at 12 reps and lower the reps by 2 each set increasing the weight up to 90% my 1rm,next I do the same thing with incline dumbbell press, 3×12 hammer strengh machine (i think thats what its called) 3×12 cable flys, 3×12 dumbbell pullover, and then for bis I just do some EZ bar curls and dumbbell curls.

  23. Turned 25 today, got some presents from friends, which is great when you don’t have any family within 4,000 miles of you.

    Feeling pretty old and it just makes me wish that I had started bodybuilding much earlier than I did, but later is better than never. Moving my first pin up to October 30th for dat Mon morning/Thurs evening schedule.

  24. Anyone have any experience bleaching their hair? Was planning on going as Roy Batty from Blade Runner for Halloween, but I’m looking into bleaching on Google and it may be a tad harder than I’d imagined. Only a couple days left to either make this happen or not.

  26. This might be an unpopular opinion but I wanna see what you guys think: Just because you are deadlifting doesn’t mean you have the right to yell on every rep. That shits so annoying and needs to stop

  27. Man, I just went to r/Fitness and went through their questions thread. One stuck out to me and it said “if I do squats should I feel it in my legs? Just making sure” or something along those lines, and people were saying yeah. What the fuck? Where are you supposed to feel it, in your anus?

  28. Just finished a cut and wanted to start bulking. Injured my groin on a hike and now it looks like it may be a few weeks to a month before I can go heavy on legs again.

    Should I bulk and pay extra attention to my upper body, or just maintain?

  36. So my gym hired a literal autist, well the kid has aspergers but close enough. Anyway he’s like 16 totally awkward and shy, nice kid though once he opens up. Looks like he’s been on gear since he could walk. Pulls like 405 at maybe 185? Crazy to see actual autism at work.

  37. I’M BACK IN THE GYM! I’m on day 2 of nsuns and it straight fucked me up. 9 sets of squats then 8 sets of diddlys…

    What the hell. That last set of 8 deadlifts felt like the hardest thing ever.

    Just wanted to say it’s good to be back. I’m trying a powerlifting program for fun to see how my body responds. I’ve seen some guys get decent aesthetic gains, so I figured why not.

  38. Coming back from the restaurant with my family where I ate a poutine as appetizer, a main course and I finished 3 of my family plate. I come home and immediately put my goddamn final meal of the day in the microwave because it’s late. My mom goes : YOURE STILL HUNGRY? After everything you just ate?

    No, im not goddamn hungry. As a matter of fact, im almost full. But I’m going to eat this FUCKING meal because I gotta get biiiiig

  39. I visited my grandfather in the hospital last night and showed him a video of me deadlifting 200kg (new PR). He looked at me with the most serious face, did a most muscular pose (with whatever strength he could manage with all the needles in his arm) and told me in his broken mandarin “You’re big and strong now”

    Not exactly big and strong now but :’)
